Brim is operated by Digitonica SRL (“we,” “us”), a company registered in Romania (CUI 46142569), with its registered office at Dr. Victor Gomoiu nr. 11, bl. S26, sc. 1, ap. 5, Craiova. By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Brim.
Not medical advice
Brim provides self-care tools — breathing exercises, journaling prompts, mindfulness sessions, and an AI companion. It is not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment, or care from a licensed professional. If you are in crisis, please contact emergency services or a crisis hotline.
Who can use Brim
You must be at least 17 years old to use Brim. By using the app you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
Using the app
You agree to use Brim for personal, non-commercial purposes. Don't try to break, reverse-engineer, or resell the app. Be kind to yourself and to Brimmy — the AI companion is here to support you.
Subscriptions and billing
Brim offers an auto-renewable subscription, Brim Pro, which unlocks full access to the app's features. Payments are processed by Apple or Google under their terms.
- Subscription: Brim Pro (yearly).
- Price: $39.00 USD per year. Prices may vary by region and are always shown in the App Store or Google Play before you confirm a purchase.
- Free trial:new subscribers get a 7-day free trial. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it automatically converts to a paid yearly subscription. Any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account (or Google Play account) at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage your subscription or turn off auto-renewal at any time in your App Store account settings (or your Google Play subscription settings).
- Refund eligibility is determined by Apple or Google, not by us.
Your content
Anything you write in your journal stays yours. Brim doesn't claim any rights over your entries, mood logs, or notes.
AI companion
Brimmy is an AI assistant powered by Anthropic. It can be wrong, misunderstand context, or give responses that are not appropriate for your situation. Use your own judgement — do not rely on Brimmy for medical, legal, or safety decisions.
Service availability
We do our best to keep Brim running but we can't promise zero downtime or that every feature will work on every device. We may add, change, or remove features as the app evolves.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Brim is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, and any disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Romania. If you use Brim as a consumer, you still benefit from any mandatory protections of the country where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. We'll revise the date above when we do, and continued use of Brim after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
